I honestly wish I could have stopped on my own like I intended to. I tried, and tried, and tried, and tried. Nothing worked. I am submitting myself to abstinence and the beautiful life without alcohol.

I will post if I can tomorrow morning. If not, I will try to post on my first day out. I have the will, but will need the way. I appreciate all who post.

Thank you. I cannot thank you enough. My wife, cannot thank you enough..

Thank you everyone,
I think asking for help is one of the strongest things we can do.

Best of luck to you. Take in everything they teach you and enjoy just being able to concentrate on yourself for a while. It is the best thing I ever did for myself.

Just go in with willingness, an open mind and a true desire to get the most out of this opportunity. Try to get in some walking or other exercise. Best wishes. I needed inpatient recovery to get better. SR is a great resource, too for aftercare if you won't have access to Internet. I didn't either and it was fine. I didn't need any distractions to my recovery.
