Songs in recovery

Hello all!

After years of having very little interest in anything - I'm just getting back into listening to music and wondered what inspirational songs/bands helped you in your recovery.

Pink Floyds Division Bell is a current favourite! Coming back to life is very apt for my feelings at times.

Hi Fools gold, I would not say that music "helped" me in my recovery exactly but when I was deep into drink I listened to very little music and would often be too hungover to either want to listen to any music or to be able to "feel" anything much of what was being sung about. Now that I have been sober for a while I can take an interest in music again.

Love that album. Most people are into the more common Pink Floyd, but that's a great song.
