One year today
Starting my second year today, although my SoBro Badger from the Feb 2016 class says we're actually on day 367 today because of leap year. In either case, I'm just sooooo glad to be sober, happy and healthy. Thanks again, everyone...there's NO WAY I could have done this without everyone at SR. I mostly post in the Feb room (Fort February), but I read the main rooms constantly, and your posts mean so much to me.
and although he's incredibly modest, another shout out to Dee--saving more lives than chemotherapy.
Also, thanks Dave, who has become a true friend in non cyber life. Thanks for being there, especially during those dark, early weeks.
wow, this is starting to sound like a Grammys Speech (Feb 12, BTW), so I'll stop embarrassing myself now.
I'll add this, the pink cloud has yet to fade for me. I think the key is to keep growing, not just get sober, but develop a life plan as well, ..just keep things moving and not stagnate.
