Still here. Still sober
Im still here and 6 weeks sober. Things are going well on the new job. I know I'll be successful as long as I don't drink. I know if I drink, success is not an option.
It feels good to have some goals again. I've lost 10 pounds and am eating better and exercising regularly. I have started caring again about how I look. I went so long not caring and not taking care of myself. Even putting on makeup was a chore. Now I feel good when I get ready.
I'm still tired a lot but I push through anyway. I know that will he better.
I'm secure in my ability to stay sober. I don't ever want to go back.

woohoo! 6 weeks is awesome! I am about the same sober time as you and I am still sooo tired. Actually the exhaustion set in last week more than anything. Apparently it can last a while. Early days are the roughest and I know within time things will keep improving. Congrats again!
