Bought a bottle
Fatboyanon, the action of dumping it is so good...it is like a personal intervention, personal accountability. It develops character and power over the AV.
Just because you bought it does not mean you need to drink it,
Just because you walk into a bottle shop does not mean you have to buy anything, just because you are driving to a bottle shop does not mean you can not turn around and change your thinking.
Congratulations on dumping it, it is wonderful.

A bottle is just a bottle.
You dumped it.
Now you know! Risky business, but a renewed commitment.
Particularly impressed that you reached out for additional strength from your vast team. Exactly how we're supposed to, when we need just that extra little bit!
Sleep tight, and enjoy the weekend. You won.

Another voice to tell you great job!! We can get ourselves in really risky situations so easily. You got yourself out this time. Well done.
Like Dee said....what are you thinking when you wake up sober this Sat and have a new day, and going forward? Have you started a program? I'm an AA-er so I'd tell you now is a great time for a meeting if you haven't been. From a practical standpoint- I'd share that I didn't put myself in ANY risky situations at first- not even going to the grocery store alone!!! Nothing is too small if it could put us in danger of drinking - what can you choose to NOT do right now?
You can do this. Keep going, just today!
