Good morning everyone. I noticed lately that my blood pleasure has dropped a few points. (Been tracking it) I was always in the normal zone and started to worry it was getting too low. Turns outs I'm still well within the normal range. I guess it's about time I seeked out a doctor and get a physical. I could never drag myself to one before because of my drinking.

Sober T, I need to do the same. Get myself to a real doctor who will order tests and such.

Good Sunday morning.

Good idea Sober T Dragon, I never does any harm and will likely give you peace of mind

Speaking to my eldest daughter today I hear that the tv remote now has to be kept hidden from grandaughter Chloe who has worked out how to use it and was tuning in to something wildly innappropriate for a 5 year old

I was up early for the tennis (well done Roger Federer) Now I have had lunch I can hardly keep my eyes open. I am not one for napping as it messes up my sleep pattern but it is unavoidable today

Just had to endure a teenage strop in the store over school trousers. My daughter was moody as well Its next to impossible to find things she approves of wearing. I swear she needs a personal tailor. If one tiny thing rubs the wrong way she wont wear it. Maybe ive spoilt her, i mean we used to wear what we were given. We left empty handed yet again. So i have to keep washing the one pair she approves of every night or so. So frustrating. This feeling emotions thing is hard work. (But important i know). Just venting. Ignore me lol

My wife recently took our daughter shopping for a graduation dress and was dreading it. Expecting pretty much the same experience JackDsMissus. Going from shop to shop and coming home empty handed. ..

To everyone's delight, she practically fell in love with the first dress she saw. Tried on a few others but kept returning to the first one. So they bought it. Apparently there was another mom and daughter waiting to try that dress also. So an hour later they were home, both with big smiles. So yes, it can happen.

Know exactly how you feel there re the stroppy teens - we've had the weekend from hell with our darling daughter - calmed down now but certainly knows how to push the buttons and get the stress levels rising.

Same goes with being spoilt tho - oh and everything is boring - well it has been this weekend as all her stuff has been taken off her, like the end of the world - hopin it will have the desired effect but she just doesn't seem to get it that asking every 5 minutes for stuff back or when will she get them back is what I am trying to stop - driving me bloody daft !!

I'll take the bit of peace we've got now and just keep my fingers crossed there's no revving up again later on or in the morning - might be there when she realises there's no phone back until Friday.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend everyone.

I hear you RedAndy, mine are in their twenties now but they could be very wilful. I would usually take the coward's way out and give in.

At least you saved some money JDM, school clothes are expensive

Congratulations to your daughter for graduating SoberT

I hope everyone made it this weekend, it's never too late to post

I'm going out to sing tonight at a worship night at my church.

Singing always makes me happy; yet I rarely do it by
myself. Wonder why that is?

Hi weekenders...just checking in. Quiet night with family. Have to be back to work tomorrow, but for now...quiet, sanity, and early bed!

Gilmer, I hope you had a lovely happy time singing at worship this evening. It has been awhile, but I used to sing old hymns and camp choruses at the top of my lungs when I used to commute. My voice is not great, so alone in a car hurtling down the freeway was the best place for it!

Days coming to a close soon. My poor daughter has the dreaded stomach flu bug, been throwing up all evening. She has exams on Tuesday too....

I love a good church choir. I go with my wife sometimes to high mass, it's not English but still sounds fine.

Hi, weekenders.

Struggled with anxiety again, but pulled myself out of this black hole.

Good news is that I found a gym which totally fits my budget and it's quite decent. They have some kind of promotion in January and reduced their price almost twice, so I can reconnect with my non-negotiable activity again.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

See you)

Funny thing cause I was thinking about that today. I was out for a hike and was listening to the Beatles on spotify. I didn't use headphones, but used the speaker on my phone. I found myself singing out loud to Rocky Racoon, Here comes The Sun, and other wonderful songs. I felt very happy. Singing is a good thing!
