Finally came clean
I finally came clean to family, friends and doctor.
I'm in detox now in hospital which has been sheer hell but I'm coming out the other side.
I fought for so long not to admit it to anyone but I have been embraced and supported. Please don't be scared all those worried about losing everything. I was far more likely to lose everything from booze.

Edited to add I'm attending a smart group and when I'm clean I'm going to an abstinence group where they teach you how to manage triggers and urges
