Struggeling recovery

Hi
I am Two month out of treatment
And because of my addiction
I have tinnitus !!
My sober life is manageble but
Now I struggel with my sleeping..
Almost No mediction aloud ( of course)
But Two month almost with out sleep
Become unmanageble!!
But I still trie to stay positive and also
Accept That I did this to myself
Because of long abuse of drugs..
I find it hard
But pray a lot
For me this forum is the Only way to talk to fellows
Because meetings are impossible for me
I am so sensitive to sounds That it become
To much stress!
So I find this as a solution to stay in recovery
And clean and sober!!

Hi Isk :)

you posted in our chat forum, which is just an admin forum for the Chat room.

I moved it here to Newcomers forum for more response.

Have you considered seeing a doctor for Tinnitus and insomnia. If they suggest meds and you don't want to take them, that's up to you but they might be able to help in other ways.'

I had a lot of operations on my ears as a kid so I build up a lot of wax...left to accumulate it can cause tinnitus.

It may be something as simple as that for you too - but do see someone about it :)

PS Depending on what device you're using you should find the chat room portal clearly marked as 'chat room' on the toolbar that runs across the top of the page
