Made it 24 hrs 😏

Tomorrow the anxiety will start, Thursday morning will be my hardest time. I am a classic closet day drinker. Can not sleep & chase my wild beautiful lil man all day. Husband still not speaking to me. Many obstacles but I need to stay focused. Y'all reminded me this horrible anxiety I'd due to withdrawal and will get better. I needed that . I thought I was losing my mind. Positive thoughts needed . Thanks for listening.

24 hours is HUGE. I came to this site when my anxiety got to me. Sounds like you have too. Keep going!

You can do this, Chele. It won't be easy at first, but it will be worth it.

I had three lil men...triplets. Now they are big men I wish I could rewind and take away the drunken mommy from their younger years. Do this now and you won't have to have any regrets later.

Great job on 24 hours Chele, that's awesome! The anxiety and other withdrawal symptoms will be bad but will lessen with time. Keep it up for your son, yourself and your husband!!

I know you can do it!

I felt the panic, disgust and anger in your last post in the parking lot. I could so relate to feeling like that at times. 24 hours is great!! Keep it up, with each day that you fight off the urges/cravings you're getting stronger.

I'm still at the stage where every day is a little victory, keep going; I'm really hoping I will get to a stage where I am no longer concerned about making it through each day.

24 hours is huge! Stick close to SR if you are struggling, and do not hesitate to see a doctor to help you through withdrawal symptoms.

Definitely check out the link Dee gave you, having a supportive network of others at the same point in their journey is definitely helpful!!

Pop in and let us know how you are doing.

Well done on 24 hours! Keep going - one step at a time - big or small - as long as you keep moving forward......
