Happy New Years...Question ..How do you reasure the friends and family that its ok if they drink around you? My explanation thus far is to tell them ( That don't know) my story,and that my recovery Comes First!! After four detoxes and my first rehab("I know i have another relaps in me,but i don't have another recovery in me")When i first read that statment it motivated me to listen and ask for help, somthing that i struggle with.So getting out my own way has been essential to my recovery, and with that,,,just saying.I DID NOT DRINK TODAY..
