I think I quit...
Prayers for you Munchkin.
We can make a difference, but that difference tends to happen a little tiny bit at a time. One thing I've learned in sobriety is that miracles often happen in slow motion. And my part of making a difference in my life is just doing the next right thing, one day at a time, (and at tricker times, one hour at a time). The trouble with drinking is that it stops us doing those important next-best-thing-an-hour-at-a-times. And if we never even try then we really are doomed.
I hope that you reached out for help, and that you'll be back soon to check in and reassure us of your safety.

I am checking myself into a rehab facility tomorrow...I am not strong enough to do this on my own...my daughter is not talking to me and my alcoholic husband says I'm crazy but I'm going tomorrow
Hope you find a facility quickly... In the meantime, why not get along to some AA meetings. Chances are poeple you meet there might be able to advise on local facilities that they and others have had experience of. If nothing else it will give you a diffrent focus to your bleaker thoughts for an hour or so, which can be quite refreshing when you've got caught up in them.
Hi Munchkin,
I hope you were able to find a program. If not, call 911 and let them know you are feeling suicidal. They will get you to the right doctors, Adan they can assist you with finding rehab.
Keep checking in.

I was right where you are 4.5 months ago. If you find yourself unable to work through this (don't know if you have help from hub) you can go to the ER. They can help place you in a detox facility/rehab. Sometimes that easiest. If you do that you might want to pack a bag and be all ready to go. Make a list. But if even that's too much, just go to the ER. You'll be ok.
Its 28 days of your life and its not an opportunity that comes around often. Take advantage of it and take care of yourself. Worry about all the other crap when you get out. Hang in there Munchkin.

Starting day 1 for the 50th time but my husband is on board this time and we just poured out all of the alcohol in the house and he took the bullets out of all of the guns so I guess he finally realized how bad this is...prayers welcome...
