New strategy So, it turns out happy hour isn't the trigger. It is the transition from day time activities to evening activities of any sort. My new strategy is tosit and read SR for a few moments before heading home. |
I hope it works, Sath! I think making more than 27 posts in six months might help... Try the 24-Hour Club. Then you're making at least one post a day! http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...ml#post6261806 |
Ha. Anything and everything is a "trigger" when you are in active alcoholism. Nothing can make me drink now - I made the decision. I don't drink, no matter what. |

Day 1. This time what I did different? I called my sponsor, and I told my home group that I am back at day one. 90 and 90 or as close to it as I can swing. I second Coldfusion's suggestion to use SR more. And as much support as you can gather. If AA is an option, go for it. Doing it on your own doesn't seem to be cutting it. |
Great idea |
You can do this Sath!! Keep pushing through!! :) |
Doing it myself sure has not worked. I have gained strings of days and even a month or two. Thanks for the thoughts everyone. |
Welcome back :) You'll get back what you put into your recovery so give it everything you've got Sath - you'll be glad you did :) |
