Holiday Hope
Holiday Hope
Two years ago, I was a mess - a human train wreck - a hopeless disaster when I finally gave in and admitted that I had no control over alcohol. I knew it for a long time but couldn't fathom life without booze. I tried moderating and that only made things worse. And of course there were the relapses . . . Maybe some of you can identify with this?
But I'm here today to tell you that things can change. You can stop the insanity if you want to. Make a plan, get help, and get well. It's not easy at first, but I guarantee you it gets better over time.
Throw away the bottle like I did and join me on the road to sobriety. Seriously, do it NOW. TODAY. THIS MINUTE. And don't look back because you deserve more than this.

Onthe,
Great post!
Sober 20 months here.
I agree 100 %.
For me....the key to moving away from my addiction was learning about the addiction.
Until we addicts know we are in an addict cycle....we keep relapsing.
Life is way precious to me now.
Thanks.
