Hello from San Diego, California

Hi there. My name is Patrick and I am 44 years old. I found this website today and am just getting familiar with everything. I had a year of sobriety from December 31st, 2014, until January 6th, 2015. I had no desire to drink and break my sobriety and wasn't particularly stressed. I felt like having a glass of wine so I did. I rarely drank at all after that, but when I did, I didn't care for it. I didn't get into the same types of trouble from drinking at all like I did before, but I realize I am better off without alcohol in any way. Thanks.

That would be fantastic!

Thanks for responding Free Owl. Yes, I would love to communicate with like minded individuals who are passionate about reclaiming their life. The definition of Recovery is 1, a return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength and 2, the action or process of regaining possession or control of something stolen or lost.

I loved my year of sobriety and felt better than ever and want to get back to that.
