PhoenixJ- my story, such as it is...
Your story is breathtaking, PJ. I think that indomitable will to live is a very valuable thing...
I am always inspired by stories such as yours and those of the others here who have overcome so much and have such an incredible spirit.
Anything I have ever been through pales in comparison and makes me wonder why I am even here (as in SR). Thank you for sharing your story. May your recovery continue and shine.

Phoenix, my friend, I always knew you were strong but I had no idea just how strong. You are an inspiration. I will pray hard that your sons see the change in you and will come back to you. I have a feeling they will, you are a dad they can be proud of.
Thank you for sharing your incredible story.

I'm reading a book right now about extreme survival...that spark that some people have at their core to keep on keeping on no matter what the circumstances. In you, that spark is a blast furnace.
I suspect you're also one of those who isn't all that comfortable with praise, so I'll just leave it at "wow" and I'm so glad you've become one of us.

Thank you for sharing your story PhoenixJ, it was humbling and deeply moving. I really hope that your two sons will come to see that in time.
I am really glad you made the decision to live and not drink
