Hi everyone
Hi, I had alcohol addiction. After getting caught once for driving under influence, I was sent to rehab. Now, I have recovered and happy to say it to the world. This is a second chance in my life.
Thank you
Thank you
Great news Andy.....
With the knowledge of your addiction
and given a program of recovery learned,
incorporate it in all areas of your life as
you continue to build a strong, solid, foundation
to live your life upon for each day you remain
sober.
Many have found success living a recovery
life and continue to pass on what was taught
to us to others sick or struggling with addiction.
Sharing our ESH - experiences, strengths
and hopes of what it was like before, during
and after alcohol or drugs.
For me, I spent my first 28 days in rehab
with a 6 week outpatient aftercare program
attached some 26 yrs sober ago. As of today
I have found it not necessary to venture out to
test the waters and see if I can drink successfully
because so many have done it for me.
For whatever reason they had to go back
out then to return to let me and others
know that alcohol or drugs is still kickin
butts big time and hasn't changed one
bit and has strengthened my resolve to remain
sober no matter what life throws at me
because returning to the insanity of my
addiction would never make my life better.
I hung on, listened to many suggestions,
applied what was taught to me and continue
today to not waver from the need and wants
to stay sober no matter what.
Going to any lengths to continue receiving
the Promises or gifts in life and recovery
to enjoy for many one days sober or clean
down the road.
You can too as you begin your journey
in life happy, joyous and free.
