Dec 13th
Dec 13th is a new beginning for me. I've been reading and thinking for a few weeks. Tomorrow will be hard, but I can do it. All I have to do is make it through one day without alcohol. I can do it. I'm glad there is a support chat tomorrow evening.

Thanks for being here. You can do it. I'm on my 2nd day and am feeling ok. I'm just exhausted and miserable but am feeling better than I did when I woke up Sunday morning after a binge and blackout. Always good to wake up sober remembering what you did last night.
Sobriety is a great way to live. It 's freedom. You can make it happen one day at a time. Today we will not drink alcohol no matter what. Alcohol is not the answer. We have to be able to uncover our true self in order to truly be alive and free.

I appreciate the support and encouragement. I'm going to focus on not drinking today. I'm also going to read more about recovery and make long term plans on how to maintain sobriety.
