15 years

Hi everybody
I am now 60 and I quit 15 years ago cold turkey , it was hard for the first two months but now life has had a whole new purpose my wife and I are expecting our first grandchild in the spring !! I don't know if I would be alive right now if I was still drinking

that's wonderful.

Apart from quitting drinking..... what did you do to make it? How did you avoid it all these years? What kept you sober, past that decision to quit?

Welcome! I'm new also. How much your new grandbaby is going to love having sober grandpa in their life! So much to look forward to.
