Actually, that's a quote from our beloved moderator, CarolD, who passed away several years ago. She was a beacon of sobriety for me.

Least, there are a few special people here whose light is always shining for the newcomers as they arrive. They are the angels who step up to comfort and assure them that it will be okay and inspire them to try for one more day...then another.

You, dear girl, are one of those angels and I am so grateful to call you my friend. You inspire me every day with your joy and your love.

CarolD was another of those special angels and I know she is smiling down here today, with her lipstick just right and her earrings in place, nodding in approval at how you have carried the torch of recovery and kept the light shining for everyone.
