Day 43 and Doing Well
Have come such a long way in the past 43 days. My career is taking off, I have lost 10 pounds, and, most importantly, I am learning to take better care of myself rather than stuffing everything inside and taking care of everyone else. My husband's alcohol addiction is the same, but I am at least getting better at setting better boundaries and telling him "no" to things that I otherwise would have let him do and then felt resentment later for. My program of recovery has involved reading and posting on SR, following the AA principles I have learned in the past, reading recovery literature, and running 1 hour each day.
