Congrats on 25 days! That is a huge accomplishment. Seems like SR was enough to get you over the hump!!!

I'm on 2 years 5 months sober and SR has been my only recovery guide (I found most use in RR/AV principles, no interest in AA or meetings). Every once in awhile I worry whether I'm doing enough, and maybe doing it wrong because I don't even have any recovery plans. My only plan is to never drink again no matter what. I like how it was pointed out earlier about channeling the same stubbornness into not drinking. I just filled up the time with life, no room for drinking. Of course, with that comes learning to deal with life in new ways. Is that enough? It is for me, for now. Staying mindful.

People have permanently ended their addictions in this manner for centuries. Pretty sure there's value to something gajillions of people over time have managed successfully.

lol yes, quite true, Algo Dismissive toward a Beast is always appropriate. I don't even bother calling my Beast names anymore though. Honestly she isn't worth wasting my breath on.
