A reminder that life is short.

My coworker unexpectedly lost her husband on Friday. My heart just sank when I heard the news. He was only in his 50s. I've been pulling extra hours at work this week to build up some comp time to help with the services later this week.

Just a reminder that life is short.

I try to emulate my dogs and cats and just live in the moment as much as possible.

I had a fight with my husband yesterday and it spilled to today. When he gets home I'm going to make up with him.

Thanks for putting things in perspective for me today.

I really needed it to help me let go of grudges and anger...

Over the past few years, I had four people I worked with pass away and one guy had a stroke at 57.

My mom has cancer and I was being reprimanded for taking off work to take her for treatment. I elected to take an early retirement.

Something my grandmother told me years ago, if you live long enough, you're going to go to a lot of funerals.

Life is way too short to not live it to the fullest.
Have no regrets. The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets

It's always good to be reminded of this.

I'm sorry for the loss of your co-worker's husband.
