fear of appearing stupid

ok. finally, I thank you for your patience. i just wanted to see how this thing works. I know this is no substitute for meetings but it feel wonderful to know that i can chat to people in recovery. I love being clean & sober.

I am 3yrs clean & sober. I live in London, go to meetings, do service, work a programe & do all the suggestion. You could say I am good student. Then for some crazy insane reason I start relationship with newcomer & almost trash everything. I learn a painful lesson, this is illness of perfection & thought i had perfect recovery, there is no such thing. Now i feel ego pain like nothing i experience so far. Does this make any sense at all?

(((Olima)))

Welcome, go ahead and throw it out there. Vent it away, that's what we do. My name's LeAnne and I'm an alcoholic with 95 days sober. I'm happy you decided to join us. Looking forward to hearing your ES&H.
