It's just going to be another sober day
Happy thanksgiving all,
It's just another sober day. Going to stick to the plan. Have my non-alcholic drink of choice readily available. After everyone else gets a few drinks in them they won't even notice I'm not drinking anyway. I hope you guys here in the US enjoy a sober and happy holiday. Please let's stick to our plans! I love my SR family

Damn Thomas, your parents didn't invite you over? Sorry. Congrats on your second thanksgiving sober. My first of many my friend. Go Vikings!

Hey Matt, its a long story, and they probably know I would have declined, but I thought it would show common courtesy to at least extend the invitation. My wife and my mother have a "history", and my Mom is the aggressor.

Glad you are sticking to your plan and keeping it a drama free day, which is what it should be. Alcohol often makes days more than what they are because it charges everyone up. Fortunately, I am just spending tonight with my parents and husband at a restaurant. The fewer people, the better!
