hello

New to this and I have been finding it difficult to do anything recently. Hope to talk to people who have been there, I'm still drinking alcohol and to be honest I don't think I'm ready to give up forever but I need help. Thanks

Hi Tony, Welcome to SR? you will get plenty of help here, do you have a plan to stop? First thing you should do is see a doc as cold turkey is dangerous. Good Luck and let us know how you getting on

Welcome to the family Tony. Why not try sobriety for a few months, say, four to six months. Give your body and brain a chance to heal and see how much better you feel.

Hi and welcome Tony

I wasn't sure I wanted to stop when I got here either...but I knew I had to.

Read around post as much as you like...get some support for yourself and give some support to others...see what other people are doing to stay sober and pick out a way that makes sense to you
