Hubby had margarita... with dinner tonight and I wasn't even tempted, not even to take a sip! Which is a pretty big deal, as margaritas were my favorite go-to drink. Somebody said here the other day that his lack of support may be because he feels threatened and really isn't interested in my sobriety. Or maybe tonight was his test to see how serious I really am. (He poured it, then 'had to take a call in the other room'; was he seeing if I would take a drink??) Day 7 here and really feeling strong and proud of myself. Still getting up everyday telling myself, "Be Sober Today." |
thats great!! Congrats on day 7! |
Great job on embracing sobriety. That is much easier than fighting adiction. My wife tells me to forget about booze. Forget about it. Easier said than done. She last drank ...as far as I know... in mid Oct. She is a normie. She does not know it but she is one of my sober role models.... Thanks. |
Nicely done! When you wake up in the morning take an extra minute to take a few breaths and enjoy that you are completely sober, no hangover. That is one of the greatest rewards of sobriety, and we get to enjoy it every day!!! ❤️Delilah |
