20th week sober

It's hard to believe I'm in my 20th week sober. Before the 20 weeks I was a heavy drinker (12 pack of beer or more a day) for 20 plus years. I had enough and it was time to quit (cold turkey). During these 20 weeks I've lost 40lbs, ran my first 5K, started remolding my house and improved relationships with family and friends. I'm so thankful that I have strength today and pray for the same tomorrow.

no secret. the dread of starting over keeps me going along with family, friends and SR.
