I watched you die turning a man from a teen
Never able to grab hold in yourself of what others have seen

To truly deal with these demons never letting you see
What's on the other side and how great the dreams are
That you chose to push further
Away from afar
I had to set the limits since you couldn't on your own
And sadly since then I'm not sure you've grown
Though I want it and need it cause I can't breathe the air
I know it's your demon why you're never there.
