Question Holidaze

Thankfully, my family and in-laws have minimal drama and minimal drinking. They know I have just been through rehab so it should not be a problem. Does anyone else feel that huge sense of relief when Dec 26 rolls around? Or maybe Jan 2?

I got out of rehab last year on December 14 and it was my first Christmas without my husband (who had filed for divorce.) It wasn't nearly as hard sobriety-wise as I thought it would be. I stayed away from parties, though, and it was just my kids and I. I was sad but also grateful.
