Dee is right about the uncertainty not going away. I continued to drink over this uncertainty that was not going away anytime soon after my relapse, and I was very fortunate I did not get into more trouble from this continued drinking, which could easily have happened. I was playing with fire. In hindsight, I should have found a way to stay sober and cope with this uncertainty, but I didn't. Fortunately, I didn't get burnt. Maybe God was looking out for me.
