Promotion and raise

Hello all...

Just posted this on Get's thread by accident...

So:

As title says: I got a promotion and an awesome raise so AV wanted me to celebrate. Whatever AV. My reward is my sobriety, peace and this great raise.

Good things happen when we are sober!!!

Thanks everyone for being here and for contributing to this great place!!!

Another thing: my hubby went out last night and now he is feeling like death! I feel amazing and loving this beautiful morning. We have a get together with family so I'm going to feel great and he will probably want to puke. He told me he would be home by 11, my answer, yeah right. Then: I'll pace myself, yeah, right. Today he said he wants to quit too... ok...

Drinking sucks!

Yes!!! Go me!!!

I'm so excited!

I have worked so hard for this. Quitting booze definitely allowed me to be my best to get this. It's awesome!!!

This is going to make a huge difference for me and my family. I'm so happy!!!

It was strange to see my AV jump up with:

"You deserve it" or "let's celebrate"...

I know better so I do better!

That is great news nowsthetime! I'm sure a celebration would have felt right, but glad you recognized alcohol would not make this "better". Awesome job.
