Today is Day 21
Hi to everyone. Made it through day 20 and now on day 21.
YAY.
It really does feel so much better to wake up without any after effects.
I feel like I am slowly coming out of the fog of decades of heavy drinking.
I still feel sluggish and lethargic..but I feel like I am getting more "back to normal" with each passing day - even if at a very slow pace.
I guess 20 days is not enough to undo 30 years!
Anyway - this place has been a big help and good luck to everyone!

Great job Flguy. Keep up the good work on 21 days. One thing I learned from my very early days of sobriety is the better I started feeling the more on guard I felt I had to be..... Keep up the good work....

Thanks everyone! Put me in that GIANT club of people who say "Boy I wish I would have done this sooner!"
I know there is a loong way to go and that 21 days is a tiny drop in the bucket but little by little I feel that I am gaining momentum- so again - Thank you everyone and this is a great site I am so glad I found it on the "internets".
