Hamar,
Our problem w alcohol is it is addictive.
Physically and mentally. The physical goes away in about 10 days.
Then the healing begins.
Then we feel all the damage that was numbed by booze.
This mental process gets better slowly....months and years......and it lasts a lifetime.
Fortunately, it has gotten easier to just say no.
Some folks relapse after many, many years of sobriety....only to get clean again.
Booze is a highly addictive toxin that will eventually help to kill all who will not stop.
It is mind over matter to stay quit.
Thanks.
