Hi

Just wanted to drop in and say hi.

I am doing well and am enjoying life once again. No longer do I wake up hung over! No longer do I sleep until 11 am on weekends to kill the hangover. I am spending more time with my family and young kids and I really think it is making a difference in our relationships although there is still some work to be done that cant be accomplished in a years time. I am present in life and living life instead of stumbling through it in a haze... not only existing but living.

Thank you all for your kind support during my dark days.

Thanks all! It really is night and day.

Im not red, im not bloated- although I have gained some lbs by my new addiction - gourmet cooking!!! I really just couldnt imagine this happening 2 years ago when I signed up for this site. My many falters finally lead to where I am now.

Congratulations, jryan. Sobriety and recovery truly rock in so many, many ways. My appreciation of the benefits of sobriety grows every day - it gets better and better.

Don't be a stranger here; so many members could benefit by the success story of a young man.

You know, I dont try and be a stranger. Its just that when things are going so well you kind of forget the rest. I dont know if that makes sense or not. But I will try to be better about popping in more often.

I just appreciate what I have no instead of getting upset about what I dont have. Appreciate the kind words.

I think if I didnt have kids I would sleep in that late, just once in a while! But I would have had to stay up really late the previous night watching movies or doing something fun.

Appreciate the encouragement.
