Frogs, Scorpions and Right Decisions Weekender Thread 03-06 Nov. 2016
Hey Upward- neener neener!!! Yeah call it early onset dementia. I wish it was September!
Gilmer, I really like your post about your friend. It's so true about our words. We never know how a small pebble we put out there can cause ripples of change in a pond. Why we should always strive to think before we speak or act, and to act with kindness. Unless they're being jerks. just kidding.
I think the meanest people are sometimes some of the most wounded and need the most kindness.
Tetra, I'm sorry your day has gone sideways. I hope tomorrow is a better day. HOWEVER you cannot post this without explaining as per SoberRecovery recovery forum Violation #17. Which I will post here so you don't need to look it up.
That's the rule. So do explain. Mkay?
But seriously. Have a better day.
also I ran across this and I thought it was kind of fitting. Sometimes we get caught up in things that we let steal our joy. We have to remember all we have to be grateful for.

Actually there was something else but I'm too embarassed to write it here.
#17. Members are not permitted to post vague, ambiguous posts or posts demanding of further explanation to other members. This is simply mean, unfair and quite frankly, teasing especially to those members who have insatiable curiousity/problematic nosiness. Such posts WILL be hounded for further explanation until it has either been answered satisfactorily or the efforts have been exhausted, at which time a random bot will send lame jokes to your inbox every half hour for the next 4 years.
But seriously. Have a better day.

So yes, Dee is always right.
Gilmer. Sorry you're down today. I hope the sun shines for you tomorrow and it's a brighter day!
