Back from the past to try this again

i am going to change. I know how to change now. I think I have all the tools. I've been taking up meditation and working on mental health. I am a drug addict. Everything. Anything. But I feel out of control. I am in a fog of despair. I want to use this site as an outlet to non judgmental people who could help me. And maybe someday I can help someone else. My best friend died, same old story, but I'll never have a friend like him again. My parents are disappointed. I'm lost. But I'm gonna find myself

i had to get thrown into a locked psych ward "But I feel out of control." before i became willing to follow direction "people who could help me." and get into recovery

i went to aa and followed the suggestions
