Life Event
Wow, it's late where I am. Or is it early? I'm not even sure any longer.
In any case, yesterday, I experienced a very positive major life event. I'm fairly guarded about what I post on a public forum, so I'm not going to say what it is. Nevertheless, I'm on Cloud 9 at the moment.
Late in the evening last night, the thought crossed my mind that it would be great to have a celebratory drink. Then I thought about how that drink would likely turn into a blackout and take me from a true state of euphoria to misery. Needless to say, I chose the better path.
Playing the tape through never would have happened had I not found SR and the supportive community here. You're all wonderful! Thank you for all you do. I don't always have time to post, but I do read posts from others whenever I have the chance, and it's always inspiring and helpful.
