Small steps =big changes
Small steps =big changes
Hello SR friends,
I just wanted to share an interesting experience I had this week, as I entered my 21st day of sobriety (Weds). I was accused for doing something wrong at work, that I hadn't actually done. I was stressed and worried about the outcome for 3 days. I ended up apologizing, and saving my job, while my ego took a large hit.
The interesting thing is...I never once craved a drink...not once! My AV was sleeping, on vacation, or was tired of me saying "too bad, nothing for you beast!"....I'm not sure. I am a little surprised and over-joyed at the same time!
For all of you struggling to break away from the chains of addiction....It does get easier each day, and every small step can lead to big changes!
Cheers to another sober day!
