It's been a long time & it feels good!

What I didn't know is today is my ex-sponsor's 41 th sobriety anniversary!

When she got up to receive her chip she asked for a Desire Chip in place of a 41 year chip, because after all it's one day at a time.

I just thought I'd share you all of you! : )

Wow 41 years - at this point, I can't imagine 41 days, but like she said 'one day at a time' is all we really have.

Eh, I never got any chips. I kind of regret not getting at least the first day one or whatever when I attended AA last spring. I was kind of a mess and didn't want everyone looking at me so.

I think that putting on makeup and feeling good about how you look is all part of the recovery process.

Good for you Lexi. At my age a 41 year chip isn't going to happen. Hell of an accomplishment though.
