A big crisis, but I'm not drinking!
 

My old dog Jack went missing yesterday early morning. Still no word on him. If ever there was a "reason" to drink, that would be it. But I don't want to drink over it. Jack's only known me sober.

There is nothing so bad that drinking can't make it worse.

Prayers for Jack's safe return are appreciated.

Try to go to a few local dog shelters and see if your dog was pick up.

Oh dear Least, I'm an atheist, but when there's horrendous circumstances, I do pray, as I think we all do. So I'm praying for you and Jack. I do hope he returns home safely soon.

I hope Jack comes home quickly and safely.

I sent his picture to the local dog pound and humane society. Also put an ad in the local paper. Still praying for his safe return.:(

This is truly heartbreaking! Praying that Jack is back where he belongs and very quickly!! Have you tried posting it on Facebook? In my area, we have lots of people post and re-post regarding lost and found pets.

I'm not on facebook, but if anyone wants to post it, that would be fine. He's a 35 lb black and tan Shiba Inu, lost in Wooster Ohio on Tuesday morning Oct 4th. Thank you! :hug:

You're in my thoughts, Least.

Least - contact all the vet clinics in your area too And call the radio stations - often they will put blurbs on about lost pets.

And contact your Shiba Inu club - they often have FB and can get the word out very quickly.

Oh no, least. So sorry to hear this. Hope you are reunited as soon as possible.

In my area we use Craigs list for lost dogs. Post a pick, date and time he went missing, cross streets, with your number. But of course, be careful...maybe meet at a public place....or worst case outside on the street.

My doggie got out last week. 3 hrs later, after Craigs list post, I got him back!
