Hi everybody! Inspirational reading some stories.
Hi everyone,
Long time reader here but never thought that I would sign up. I've been in denial about my drinking issue for 2 years now and I finally reached breaking point 2 weeks ago and vowed never to take another drink, I have stuck to this so far.
I wouldn't drink everyday but I would have a mad binge on a weekend and it was ruining my life, I'd apologise to the loved ones I upset, they'd forgive me but then I'd do it all again a week later. I decided enough was enough when my girlfriend finally had enough and left me over my drinking and decided it's time to end my unhealthy relationship with alcohol.
I look forward to chatting to you all on my journey to staying sober.
Thanks for reading
Mark

Hi Mark - I'm so glad you posted. Congrats on making the decision to reclaim your life & get free.
I got to the point where each time it was in my system bad things happened. I'd be determined to control the amounts, but it was useless. I always had more than I intended - & danger and embarrassment followed. It's great to have it out of my life. You can do this.
