You probably didn't intend it to sound this way, but giving something a "go" doesn't exactly ring with commitment. It's kind of like you'll try sobriety, but if you should drink, that's okay. Again, not saying that's what you mean. But look deep into your heart and ask yourself, "Am I completely committed to recovery, to never drinking again, and willing to do whatever it takes?" Alcoholism is life and death. Your commitment to recovery needs to be equally serious. |
