I'm not sure what to write but I guess this is my first step in living an alcohol free life.
I am determined but also terrified by the challenge that lies ahead and hope that by being on this forum I will be inspired by how other people have succeeded.
No one in my family is really aware of my drinking as I hid it very well but I am pretty sure they suspect, but they have no idea how bad it was.
My work is suffering and my health is too all because of my lack of control. So here I go, I am sober now this minute, and will just take it moment by moment, I just hope I have the strength.

Welcome to SR newall. I find reading here when ever times get tough really helps. I really like reading the stories of recovery forum. I got a lot of inspiration and motivation from them. It's going to be tough but you can do it if you really want it
