The Shift

Hi Everyone: I thought that many of you may be truly inspired by this movie. Dr Wayne Dyer. Enjoy and I look forward to hearing from anyone who watches it or who may have already seen it. He gave up drinking over 20 years ago and hearing him talk about this among other things really was very powerful.

Thank you, I LOVE Wayne Dyer and I bookmarked the movie to watch tonight.

In return, I will mention Wayne Dyer's Butterfly story on Youtube. It's about 15 mins long and it's amazing and humorous. Just put this in your browser:

Thanks Belier. The video is very much worth the time to see in its entirety. I experienced so many connections.

I know the setting well. I would drive to to Asilomar for a week long conference every year when I lived in Ca. I recently started a thread with a little story which I heard at Asilomar. (The story later had an impact on my recovery). I gave a copy of the Tao Te Ching to a friend just last week. (This spiritual text had a great impact on me in my early sobriety.) Asilomar and the the Tao Te Ching have been recurrent themes recently and then this video. Then, and not least of all, the notion a synchronicity itself is touched on in the video!

I had to look Asilomar up on Google. Ive GOT to get there at some point in my life, I just have to experience that place. The whole time I was watching I could just feel the spirituality there!

I want to bump this thread for those who might have missed the link to the film that's in the original post.

Someone one said that "not drinking involves more than just not drinking". Many of us required allot more. The video is a good example of putting some of the tools we found to use.

Spend the time to see it, particularly is you're new to this. I don't think you'll regret it.

Thanks awuh, yes it is about a real movement, or as the name of the movie suggests A Shift in being, thinking maybe even an awakening.
