Hey weekenders. I can't believe it's Wednesday. I've lost track this week.

Trees. That doesn't sound like OK to me. Buying alcohol and dumping it out. Playing with fire there. Sounds like something is troubling you.

MB, I'm glad you didn't get a giant hassle when you got your documents.

Tetra, avoid Dr. Google. You'll be diagnosing yourself with plague before long. Hopefully you get relief soon. I think the Plastic mattress cover is a good idea.

Morning everyone, it is disappointing that we barely reached 300 posts this week. Hopefully this is just a transitional phase.

Grey start to the day, I am going to be really busy at work later, I am so relieved that I do not have to do this hungover

Morning, Sao.

Yes, the thread is slow this time - but its easier to catch in with the posts)

Have a great day at work.

I've got a slight cold - hope to take care of it before it develops into a full-blown one. Being stuck at home with sore throat and my thoughts are the last thing I need right now.

See you all.

Things are always slow under 'new management'

The 24 hour Recovery Connections started the same way and went gangbusters

The new thread for this week is here:

Hi - yep Snarly again.

Now that my head is no longer spinning and brain is calming down, I'm snooping around.

What is this weekend commitment- something i should probably participate in?

What do I need to do?

I just left same type post on 24 commitment.

I'll bite.

Put me in coach!

Hi, Snarly!

Welcome to weekenders.

This thread is designed to help anyone go through one of the most challenging times in sobriety -a weekend. But the thread doesn't stop with the end of the weekend and travels through entire week.

There is a lot of sober fun here -music, hobbies, humour, and just life in recovery on life terms) my real -time legal battle with banks (who needs suits TV show when I have my own reality show).

Great place to spend a weekend and beyond.

My weekend has started somewhat earlier -I felt worse and went to the doc, who sent me on sick leave.

Not happy at all.

See you later.

I have a big wedding this weekend. Lots of old friends. Its going to be tough to be sober. I have a plan which is nice. Going ot try hard to have fun. The problem I will have is Ill want to bail early and get out of there. While everyone is dancing and talking ill be thinking of booze. (sad really) So ill need to leave. Im only 33 days into this so I guess me being sober is the most inportant part. Hope to be normal some day soon when I can go out and socialize and not think of the drink.

I think, in order that people (especially newbies) don't get confused or lost, I might start locking these old threads when the new one gets up.

If I'm somehow overlooking an important aspect of the weekenders experience please let me know.

New thread for the current weekend is here:
