Hi Sinderos… I'm right here with you. Today is day 2 for me and I know first hand how hard it is staying sober. I've been a long time heavy drinker, on and off the sobriety rollercoaster, and have finally decided that enough is enough. I cannot moderately drink, and decided that I now want to be sober more than drunk.

Welcome I'm day 2 looking forward to day 3. I've been wanting to get sober for so long but am more determined than ever. I need to beat this I cannot and will not let it beat me and destroy my life and the way I was going I was well on that slippery slope

Welcome Back Sinderos!
It took me a while to finally get it right as well. I think focusing on healthy changes is a good idea. I have been working on mindfulness for the past 8 and a half months and it has helped me.
In regards to 5:00 being a tough time for you, I completely understand, it was for me as well. I had to plan our every moment the first few weeks, gradually not drinking and focusing on positive healthy habits became my new norm.
Every now and then the thought of drinking will pop into my head, but I can quickly play the tape through and know that it will not be one drink, and I will wake up very disappointed to be back at Day one again.
I know you can do this!
