Well I'm on day 25. Feeling good, starting a new job this week. Used to be a bartender and this new job is in retail management, so I'm happy I'm not working with alcohol anymore. Right now I'm still battling negative feelings, no urge to drink but I'm staying with family right now and am feeling frustrated living with them. I know they care and ultimately I am sober and that's the number 1 thing. I know I have to get over this and focus on the positive. Anyone have experience with this?

Congrats on your new job

To be honest, I think when you move out again all your family issues will click back into perspective again Joey.

I agree. It's lIke i feel I have no autonomy, but I ended up here because I lost my job because of drinking. My own doing. I'm being ungrateful because they are taking care of some of my bills, but I feel better expressing my feelings than bottling them in.

Good job on 25 days! Keep it up, vent as you need to... remember where resentments get us Try to practice gratitude as well as working towards your goals. I think you're doing great.
