Day 6 today. Feeling crazy tired, like I need to sleep another 9 hours even though I slept well last night. Going to drink lots of water, take a multi B and do some housework and play board games with the kids. Been reading a lot the past few days, threads here on SR and a novel which I've almost finished.
I've got very little energy but I'm hoping it will lift soon.

As long as you don;'t spend days on devising a mission statement or researching a plan

we alcoholics and addicts (self included) can be great at nearly doing something... all the thinking reading and pondering...but putting off real action.

Action is key to change

Day 7. Monday night has been my nemesis for the past year. Drunk easily 90% of the past year's worth of Monday nights. I have plans with family tonight and am looking forward to waking up tomorrow to Day 8, not 1.
Still tired, but for the first time in a week I woke feeling hopeful about the future. Feeling a lot less anxious and my appetite is good. Still have dark circles beneath my eyes. The night sweats seem to have passed.
