Day 4
Today is day 4 and I feel pretty good. I wanted to share that yesterday, after years of wanting to do it but being to scared or shy or whatever, I went to an AA meeting. I was so nervous but it was a wonderful experience. I chose a women's meeting. Everyone was so warm and kind and welcoming it felt like this is what I've been missing all these years. I feel that this will give me the support I need that extra little push to get my act together. I am so happy that I went. I think I will go to another meeting this evening.

That's great! A meeting tonight sounds like the perfect next step. Perhaps you will want to try the recommended 90 in 90 (mtgs/days) for newcomers. Stick with the womens' group if you are most comfortable, try others if you want or it means you can fit a meeting into your schedule.

Good luck- hope to see you around!
