Librium and larazepam
Librium and larazepam
Hello all, I know this is a touchy subject since medical advice is forbidden. I am not looking for advice just your experiences.
I have been wanting to detox safely since my last home detox was scary. No seizures but very high anxiety and I wasn't able to sleep for days.
However, I have two full time jobs and I can't go to a detox center. My only option this time would be out patient detox.
I went to the ER this morning due to a panic attack. They prescribed me lazorepam and librium to take at home.
I am wondering if any of you have taken either of those medications and did it help at all, especially with anxiety. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be taken together (I will definitely check with the pharmacist).
I would just like your experiences, please. Thanks!

I did take Librium to detox (after a couple weeks of bad withdrawal symptoms). It's a very short term med usually.
Good idea to check with pharmacist. Maybe the lorazepam is for after your Librium? Idk

I was given librium when I was in rehab and yes, it helped with the withdrawal symptoms (though I didn't have very many, just a little anxiety.) I think lorazepam is a benzo....I have taken it in the past and it helped me. But as mentioned, ask your dr, not sure about taking these two things together.
